Richmond Township Senior Center
Richmond-Lenox EMS took on the responsibility of administrative over-site and operation for the Richmond Township Senior Citizen Program. "This seemed to be a good fit for the EMS, who already has a relationship with many area seniors through our partnership with SMART Community Transit", said EMS Chief Jeff White.
The Senior Program is funded by Richmond Township and is open to anyone over the age of 60, living in Richmond Township, or its neighboring communities. Senior activities typically take place on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Tuesday of the month from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The program includes weekly cards/bingo with light refreshments, monthly luncheons and birthday celebrations with cake and ice cream. There will be occasional LOCAL day trips to area parks and other venues. We are also working on guest speakers and various entertainment.
The Senior Center is located at 75701 Memphis Ridge. Our entrance is shared with the Richmond Township Offices off of School Section. Persons wanting additional information on the program are asked to call the EMS Office at 586-727-2184, or reach out to the Senior Center Coordinator Kim at 586.295.5443.
